  • We adhere to comprehensive environmental, health and safety standards and work every day to be a responsible operator focused on the world around us.
  • We invest substantial capital to ensure the integrity of our systems and the safety of our employees, contractors and the general public.
  • We execute a comprehensive leak detection and repair (LDAR) program that exceeds industry standards and maintain performance inline with The Environmental Partnership industry benchmarks.
  • We train and equip our employees to perform rigorous job planning and work permitting with the goal of eliminating hazards before incidents occur. 
  • We are committed to being a good steward of the environment and work hard to reduce our impact on air, land, waterways and wildlife. 


  • We support the communities around our assets through financial contributions, volunteer activities and community partnerships with charitable organizations.

  • We take a proactive approach to safety through comprehensive training programs provided by our internal Environmental, Health and Safety department and other outside resources.
  • We establish safety and performance metrics which are designed to reduce incidents and hold our employees accountable in their day-to-day jobs.
  • We develop emergency preparedness plans and train our employees on these plans so that should an incident occur, we are equipped to minimize the impact to the general public, our employees and contractors, and the environment.


  • We uphold our core values and mission while working to provide operational excellence and a valuable  experience for our producer customers, employees and capital providers.
  • We use auditing programs to ensure our operations are safe and reliable.
  • We establish and maintain internal programs that address emergency plan management, cybersecurity risk evaluation and business continuity.

Sendero Gives Back

We are committed to actively supporting the communities where we live and work through volunteerism and financial investments. Some of the organizations we are currently involved with include:

  • JDRF (Gulf Coast Chapter) – advocacy group leading the fight against type 1 diabetes.  
  • BEAR -BE A Resource advocates for juveniles in the foster care system.
  • Covenant House – provides shelter to abused, abandoned and homeless youths.
  • Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – the largest nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers.
  • Houston Food Bank – provides food and services to people facing hunger.
  • Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad – offerings young people educational, enriching and fun experiences in a safe environment.
  • United Way (Eddy County) – focused on improving lives and strengthening communities for the most vulnerable.
  • Bureau of Land Management (New Mexico) – focused on sustaining the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
  • Friendship Park (Carlsbad) – a local playground specifically designed for children and adults with physical disabilities.   
  • Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce – promotes business in a way that balances prosperity with quality of life.
  • Christmas on the Pecos – hosted by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
